For homeowners
Sell Smarter with Assisted Move
Residential Property Partners' Assisted Move service helps you market your property with the aim of achieving a strong open-market result within the timeframe required for your move, while giving you support in securing your new-build home. RPP helps coordinate the valuations, the agents, the pricing strategy and the sales progression through to completion.
Benefits
Why homeowners choose an Assisted Move
A strong open-market result
Market your property with the aim of achieving a strong open-market result within the timeframe required for your move.
Two estate agents instructed
Following two to three independent local estate-agent valuations, once the marketing price is agreed, two selected estate agents will be instructed to market your property. This can create greater exposure while keeping one coordinated marketing strategy.
No long agency contracts
Unlike instructing an estate agent yourself, you are not tied into lengthy sole agency agreements. If an appointed agent is not performing, RPP can arrange a replacement to help keep your sale progressing.
Focus on proceedable buyers
RPP works with the appointed agents to understand prospective buyers' positions and prioritise those who appear able to proceed, helping reduce avoidable viewings and delays.
Evidence-based pricing advice
Two to three independent local estate-agent valuations, sold comparable evidence and current competing properties inform a recommended asking price and an expected achievable sale range.
Managed sales progression
Once an offer is accepted, RPP coordinates with the estate agents, solicitors and relevant parties to help keep the transaction progressing.
Potential plot-hold period
The chosen plot may be held for up to four weeks following the completed valuations, subject to developer approval, terms and availability.
Fully managed fee
An Assisted Move fee of 1.5% + VAT, including payment of the appointed estate agents. The fee and included services remain subject to the final agreed terms.

Your plot, protected
Aim for a strong open-market result while protecting your move
When selling before you buy, one concern is that your chosen plot may be sold before your existing property finds a buyer. Once Assisted Move has been agreed following the completed valuations, the developer may hold your chosen plot for up to four weeks, subject to its approval, terms and availability. This provides an agreed period in which to market your property and pursue a suitable sale.
A fully managed 1.5% + VAT fee
Our fee covers the fully managed service and payment of the appointed estate agents, so there are no separate estate agency costs. If you later switch to Part Exchange, all offers are subject to a satisfactory RICS survey on the property.

Under Assisted Move, appointed local estate agents market the customer's existing property as part of the agreed sales process. RPP coordinates and monitors the progression but does not provide direct-marketing services or add customers to promotional mailing lists.
